Heather Mackay

BDS (hons), BMS(hons), MFDS RCS (eng)

Heather is a caring and empathetic dentist. She is keen to help her patients improve their smiles and alleviate any fear of attending the dentist!

Heather grew up in London but has since explored up north. Firstly enjoying Sheffield for her undergraduate degree in biomedical science (2015). Secondly moving to Liverpool for her postgraduate dental training, achieving honours and a distinction in oral medicine (2019).

Outside of work heather enjoys painting and playing the violin. She also spends the weekends visiting family down south and catching up with friends.

Sarah Mallon

BSc(Hons), BDS, MFDS RCS (Eng)

Sarah qualified in dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 2019. Prior to dentistry, Sarah graduated from the University of Liverpool with a 1st class science degree before embarking on her dental degree.

Since qualifying with her BDS Sarah has continued to study, attending many postgraduate courses to enhance her skill set including facial aesthetics, composite bonding and Invisalign. She also achieved her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2021.

Sarah provides both NHS and private dentistry with her aim being to help patients obtain good dental health, achieve the smile they want and make attending the dentist a more positive experience!

Outside of work Sarah enjoys being outdoors walking, going to the gym and socialising with her friends and family.

Richard Joyner

BDS, BSc,

Richard qualified in dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 2009.

Prior to dentistry, Richard graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Anatomy and Human Biology in 2005.

After qualifying Richard worked for a year, 2010-2011, in the Liverpool University Dental Hospital as a Dental Senior House Officer, with experience working in the Paediatric, Restorative and Oral Surgery Departments. From 2011-2012 Richard worked in Alderhey Children’s Hospital and Arrowepark Hospital in the Maxillofacial Department.

Since 2013 Richard has worked in Holmlands as a general dental practitioner.

Outside of work Richard playing the guitar and spending time with friends and family.

Michelle Corrin

BDS, MFDS RCS(Eng) Michelle has just entered her 16th year working at the practice and is our dental hygienist. Michelle started her career as a dental nurse in 2000 and soon realised she had a passion for oral health and decided to further her education to train as a dental hygienist.
She qualified from the university of Liverpool in 2006

Outside of work Michelle enjoys family life with her husband Steve and her 2 boys, 6 year old Joshua and new baby Harry. She loves to go camping in the summer and also enjoys watching live music and keeping fit
